Christopher P. Johnston, 48, of Downingtown, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 3, 2011.

He is the son of the late Raymond E. Johnston and Rosemary McCrea Plant.

Chris attended Delaware County Community College.

He was employed as a Security Guard for Kelly's Security Service, Inc.

Chris was interested in politics and loved to discuss current events. He also enjoyed sports, working out at the gym, and reading.

Chris is survived by Ray, Jan, Carole, Lauren, Ryan, nieces, nephews, and stepfather, Albert Plant.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Kenneth M. Johnston, Sr.

A funeral service will take place at 2 pm on Thursday, November 10th at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 12:30-2 pm.

Interment will be private.
