Frances M. “Franny” Cozzone

Frances M. “Franny” Cozzone, 78, of Downingtown, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011, joining her beloved granddaughter Jesika Kavanagh on what would have been Jesika’s 20th birthday.  Born in Kennett Square, she was one of 13 children of the late John and Margaret Marine.

Frances is survived by her 3 children, Lawrence, Jr., Janet and Victor Cozzone and daughter-in-law Kathi Cozzone; as well as grandchildren, Shannon Bonsall and Victor A. Cozzone; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Bonsall and Daphne Smith.  She is also survived by her sisters, Julia Borzillo, Barbara Ledet and Carmella Torella, and brother, George Marine.   Frances was preceded in death by her granddaughter Jesika; sisters, Lena Caputo, Rita Balbach, Gloria Stewart; and brothers, John, Victor and Romeo Marine.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 12, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 101 Worthington Road, Exton, where family and friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be private.
